If Amsterdam hasn’t already earned a spot in the world’s top-three, it can only be a matter of time. With a sense of heart for the metropolis Amsterdam, the R.O.C. and ”SENS leren” together started a grand project to train talent in the hospitality business and also serve as a welcoming home to tourists, through their digital and inviting platform.
Wherever guests are welcomed, a welcoming sign is what you’d expect to see. Based on the neon glass tube-structure of a flashy ‘welcome sign’, a grid was formed that serves as the design basis for a dynamic logo and a set of icons in Amsterdam fashion. The style is both lively and playful, to encourage all tourist hosts to engage energetically.
