Machines for freedom

Machines for freedom

installation design, woodcrafts, promotion video

Wildeburg festival is a plunge in the deep. Emotional and cultural values like freedom, creativity and nature are the driving forces behind this musical event. Stemming from a deep love for sincerity and artistry, conventional boundaries are pretty much understood as non-existing by Wildeburg. Everyone is included and welcome.

Three machines represent music, day-and-night and freedom in this promotional video. These values have materialized in installations that turn everything upside down. Wood craftsmanship was applied right down to the minute. The islands that carry the machines pay homage to the astounding natural resources of the festival’s home ground.

Day & night, freedom, and music

Day & night, freedom, and music

Each of the installations that were forged, create a different quality in a unique way. Together they harmonize day-and-night, freedom and music.

Turn the world upside down and the machines become the roots of the festival. The installations never cease their labor. All through the day and night the island inhabitants may dance in freedom.

Working with natural material is a must where Wildeburg is concerned. The festival is keenly aware of how to best inspire its audience through nature.

Since the material used in the production - wood - is our favorite, we pushed the envelope and decided to build all three machines from just one piece of Mahogany wood.

The fact that the machines run so smoothly is therefore a true homage to nature.
